Permendur Iron-Cobalt Soft Magnetic Alloy with High Saturation
Permendur is an equal grade of HiperCo50-ASTM A801 Type 1 UNS R30005.
A-ONE ALLOY supplies Permendur cold rolled strip with minimum thickness of 0.05mm. We are among the several TOP suppliers in China who are able to make this thickness. Our customers are from worldwide including EU&US.
A-ONE ALLOY has rich experience of supply Permendur parts, machined and heat treated. What's more, we are able to help our customers to improve the design of product.
Stocked strip of thickness 0.1mm, 0.20mm, 0.35mm.
We could supply the strip with a MOQ of 20kg. The delivery is 45 to 60 days. And, for stocked items, the MOQ is 1kg only! For a R&D project, it is really helpful!
Permendur is an iron-cobalt alloy used in magnetic components requiring high permeability at and above 15 kG (1.5 T) or high magnetic saturation.
In fact Permendur has the highest magnetic saturation of all soft-magnetic alloys and excels in application where this attribute is needed. Hiperco 50 maintains its strength after heat treating making it your best choice for application that experience high forces (e.g. rotating parts).

Available Forms
Heat treatment of R30005
Heat to the annealing temperature and hold for 4 h. Alloy 1 is typically heat treated at temperatures between 845 and 865°C. For some applications, annealing may be performed at temperatures as low as 715°C. The annealing temperature of Alloy 1 should never exceed 875°C as the alloy is prone to exhibit poor magnetic properties if heated above this temperature. Exceptions to this high-temperature limit, if necessary, should be discussed with the producer.
